Barbara Farmer James ,born on August 27, 1931, left this life on March 25, 2012 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Annie Farmer, and her siblings, Evelyn Woods, Ruth Dowdy, Louise Butler, C.L. Farmer, and Albert Farmer. She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Edwin James, and her baby sister Shirley Tipton and her six children and spouses David & Vicki James, Stephen James, Hugh & Tess James, Charles & Kristi James, Paul James , Carol & Troy Burnett. She is also survived by her most precious possessions, 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 am in the chapel of Forest Park Lawndale with interment to follow. The family will greet Barbara's friends on Friday, March 30 from 6-8 PM. As an alternate choice to flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the church of your choice in her name
