BARBARA JEAN AMARELLE MATRANGA went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2010. She was born on December 21, 1938 in Houston, TX.Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend that will be missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Hagan, Tami Wofford; son,Anthony Paul Matranga; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildern; sister, Greta Von le Fort; brother, Michael John Timme and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mitchell Matranga. Visitation will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 2280 Aldine Westfield Spring, TX 77373 followed by a rite of committal in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
