Dad Loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed sharing a wonderful
home cook meal that he had prepared. "PASTA"!! What ever he cooked it
was enjoyed by all.
My dad was amazing! He told us so many things about his life such as
working with pit crew assistant in midget auto racing. He ran a drugstore for years on which is where i
have one of my earliest memories. Sitting at the soda fountain and eating the most delicious ice cream
cone, always yum! scoops...
Dad was a Home builder as well for over 30 years. I remember when he
started building in Jersey Village and the new high opened. I wanted to go there so
bad, so my dad, bless his heart, would drive me from our home in Candlelight Oaks
to Jersey Village to school. Of course that was before 290 so it was Hempstead hwy.
witched seemed like forever to get there in those days. He was the best for this and
so many more reasons.
Dad enjoyed going fishing with all his son's including his #1 son-in-law
( as he like to refer to him).
They would go to Canada and Florida. Those trips bonded them all
together as men, enjoying each others company.
The stories from those trips made them have memories for a lifetime.
Dad also enjoyed, growing fruit trees, trees and very proud of his
grapes vines's. Which are full as can be with grapes.
I will miss my "daddy", he is like no other.
I am my daddy's little girl forever.
Butterfly kiss's.
