Beatrice Benignus Seely

Houston, Texas on March 26, 1930 to Gertrude Zwink Benignus and Carl Eugene Benignus. She

married Carl Edward Seely on June 23, 1952 and they had three children. Beatrice was a

homemaker and enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren, and many creative interests.

Beatrice is survived by her children Sherlyn (George) Leger, Daryl (Tammy) Seely, and Shannon

(Bob) Schiermann; her grandchildren Tiffany (Mike) Spears, Thomas (Jessica) Leger, Ian (Ryan)

Sokolnik, and Austen (Paige) Sokolnik; and her great-grandchildren Luke Spears, Emily Spears,

James Leger, and Charlie Leger. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren Candice (Billy)

Turner and Brandon (Brandi) Campbell; and her step-great-grandchildren Braydon Campbell and

MacKenzie Turner.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Carl Seely, Jr., her sisters Erlyn

(C.L.) Lisbony and Mervelin (Steve) Morton.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, March 28, 2024 at Earthman

Resthaven Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.
