Beatriz S. Hernandez, 88, entered into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 12, 2012, after a brief illness, she is now reunited with her husband of 49 years, J. Guadalupe Hernandez. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Beatriz was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with her family. A devoted Catholic and member of St. Frances Cabrini for 12 years. She loved life and was loved by many. She is survived by children; George and wife Diana, Enrique and wife Rebecca, Laura Hernandez; grandchildren Chantelle DeMunbrun and husband Rhett, Marissa Shepherd and husband Richard, Catarina Hernandez, Michael Hernandez; great-grandchildren Nadya Hernandez and Ricky Shepherd and adopted Grandma to many. Visitation Thur., Feb. 16, 2012, 6-9 pm, Forest Park Lawndale, Rosary 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass Fri., Feb. 17, 2012, 10:00 am, St. Frances Cabrini with interment to follow at Forest Park East.
