Ben E. Landers, age 24, went to be with the Lord, August 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Jo Hill Landers, and his brother, Tommy Scott “Scotty” Landers, Jr. He is survived by father, Tommy Scott Landers, Sr.; brother, John Lynn Landers; grandparents, Lynn Ray and Gwendolyn Jo Hill; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. “And now that we’re here, it’s so far away, and I feel like I can face the day. And I can’t forget that I’m not ashamed to be the person that I am today.”
