

Benito Zuniga, 73, born July 1, 1947 went to be with our Lord Monday, August 10, 2020. Benito is preceded in death by his parents J. Guadalupe and Concepcion Zuniga, brothers Jose Guadalupe Zuniga, and Ampelio Zuniga and grandson Nicholas Brandon Zuniga.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Jesusa P. Zuniga. Also survived by his children: Oscar Zuniga and wife Laura; Griselda Navarro and husband Paciano; Benito Zuniga, Jr. and wife Cynthia. His grandchildren: Oscar Zuniga, Jr. Armando Zuniga; Alyssa Zuniga; Cameron Zuniga; Makayla Navarro; and Michelle Navarro. Survived by his siblings: Delia Ramirez; Connie Tamayo; Ramiro Zuniga; Javier Zuniga; Salvador Zuniga; Ana Rosa Valadez; and Ofelia Gonzales.
Benito was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a devoted family man. In 1968 he emigrated from Verdia, Jalisco, Mexico to Pasadena, TX. As the eldest brother, his brothers and sisters looked up to him as a role model and father figure. In one way or another he positively influenced everyone that he encountered. He was reserved and quiet, but managed to say a lot with few words and gestures. Some of his passions included gardening, fishing, hunting, his farm animals and traveling. His biggest passion, which brought him much joy, was caring and nurturing for his children and grandchildren alongside his inseparable wife. His favorite phrase was "Oh yeah! ".
