Benjamin Thomas Hutzler

Benjamin Thomas Hutzler, age 37 of Houston, TX died February 21, 2018 as a result of heart failure. Ben was born July 11, 1980; he is the beloved son of Lynette & Rick Hutzler and stepson of Cindy Hutzler. He graduated from Jersey Village High School in 1998. Ben was currently employed at Planet Ford in Spring, TX in his dream job as a Vehicle Technology Specialist where he loved meeting people and being around cars.

He is survived by his parents, sisters Allison Hutzler Zahn and Laura Hutzler, brother in law, Schaun Zahn and stepsister Jennifer Booth and brother in law Kevin Booth, as well as Mitchell Hutzler & Joel Tucker of Brighton, Colorado and Ricky Douglas (PJ) of Montgomery, TX. He leaves his maternal grandmother, Billie Proctor Pieri of The Woodlands and was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Raymond S. Proctor and Paternal grandparents George & Judy Hutzler of Conroe, TX and Uncle Samuel Hutzler of Houston, TX. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care of all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute Texas Medical Center.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25 from 1:30-3:30 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 26 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven.
