Life is too short.  You were such a great person, and so many people loved you.  I pray your family finds peace and comfort in the truth. The truth is that ultimately God is in control and we are never alone in this world.  Even-though its never the "right time" to lose a loved one,  Bernie you will forever be missed and loved.  
- Someone once told me that people can die 3 times, once in the hospital bed, once in the grave and once when their loved ones stop talking and remembering them. I pledge to never stop remembering the love Bernie shared with us all. Touching so many lives is not an easy task, however B-MAN... you did it so effortlessly.  Thank you for being a dear friend.

My condolences goes out to everyone that had a chance to know Bernie and be a part of his world especially his loved ones high school was a blast going through it with him and he will always be remembered for he was such a gentle person and I never thought I would see this day that he was gone but I thank God for the time I had with him..

Bernie, I watched you grow up and was able to see what a wonderful kindhearted person you are. You always made sure to make your friends feel loved and made your friends, like my sister, feel like they were your sisters. Your laughter was contagious and  your big smile lite up a room.  
You are truly missed.

My Boo Bear , "Is what I always referred to Bernie as" , The first time I met you over 7 years ago you had the biggest smile and made the whole room light up. I have so many fond memories of you and I will hold them dear to my heart. God only knows why  he took you home. My sweet brother! I'm in such denial that you are no longer on this Earth to share another day with. God knows why he needed you with him. Take our hands and guide us all through this devastating time while we mourn and miss you! I love you and will live by some of your last words to me. Rest with love and peace my sweet angel.

I don’t even know where to start , Bernie is one of a kind , someone who would brighten anyone day. There was never a dull moment with him. Everything was just so much better when he would come around . We shared so many memories together and i will cherish them forever . I love you B .

Bernie was the life of the class, his smile was captivating, his loyalty was breathtaking. Everyone loves Bernie- he was so amazingly happy. I can recall a day when he came into class not feeling well. I told him he could lay his head down and rest for a while since our classroom windows were tinted....lol. He did for a while but popped right up when I turned on the radio; it was if his headache had disappeared. We all laughed and had a good time. Bernie and Berneice were inseparable. Family just know that he will continue to smile upon us all. For his significant other, he will always be in your thoughts and dreams smiling and loving you. I'm praying for you all. Bernie is loved by everyone he meets! His love with endure forever more! 💘

My Bernie, no words can describe how amazing of a human being you were. You where always so positive and up spirits even on the worst situations. You knew how to make anybody smile with just a simple sentence, in the last year or so i was no able to share a lot of memories, but we always kept in touch to make sure our family's where doing good, but we had so many memories prior to that since the day i met you back in middle school i knew how big of a heart you had always the class clown making jokes. We had our party years lord all those weekends we partied hard lol. At one point we where neighbors you and Ricky where so exited on finally getting yall's 1st apt we where together 24/7 watching movies going to the pool you cooking for us, my son loved you always asked lets go to Bernie's and Ricky's lol. My love that's what i called you, you always manage to remind me how much you cared for me Joe and the boys we where more than friends, we where family i will truly miss you thank you for always being you!!
