Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved with her whole heart and would do anything to be around her family. For those who had the privilege of meeting Betty, they know the warmth that radiated from her. She loved conversation and wanted to know anything and everything that was going on in a person’s life. The moment anyone stepped into her home, a sense of calm, comfort and acceptance met them at the door. She was a strong-willed woman and she passed that trait down to her daughter Renee’ and granddaughters Barrett, Morgan and Kathryn. Betty had the most beautiful soul; the love she had for God, family and friends was unmatched. She always had a smile in her voice and she was always happy and willing to help with whatever anyone needed. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and would brag about them to anyone who would listen. She has impacted so many people throughout her 78 years of life. Betty is one soul that will never be forgotten.

Betty was a phenomenal saleswoman and she won many awards for having the highest sales in Home Interiors, Pampered Chef and Premier Jewelry. There was never a challenge she would not face head-on. Betty was a socialite never keeping still for too long. She always had to be moving. She was busy going to rallies, visiting with friends or family and in more recent years would ride with Bobby to navigate lawnmower pickups and deliveries. Betty was the most organized person someone could encounter. She would spend hours in her office organizing everything and nothing was ever out of place. Her favorite activities included: traveling with her Bobby, Wednesday Share Group of which she was a member for over 40 years, volunteering at Faith Formation every summer at her church, and attending any and every school function or extracurricular activity for her grandchildren. Going forward, anytime Betty is mentioned, a smile will grace your face; all the memories shared, and life lessons given will come flooding back.

Betty was one of the most caring and hard working people I have ever met. She never gave up and never quit. But most of all, she loved her family and grandchildren. Even though she was always doing a home based business, the family always came first. Every child should have a grandmother like Betty. She loved those grandchildren and they were her life. She will be missed by so many people. She has touched a lot of lives.

Betty had a way of making you feel so special. Her conversations were never superficial; she genuinely cared and remembered details and would ask for updates letting you know she was truly interested. Aaron and I had the privilege of updating their master bath but became more than the hired help. We felt like family to her and Bob. After reading all of the tributes on FB, it is apparent she had that same love and passion for those in her life and we were all special to her as she invested herself in you. Rest in paradise dear Betty. We love you and we're praying for your family.

It is so hard to write something that truly describes my feelings for Betty. She is a part of my heart and I will miss her every day. We became family to each other as our lives intertwined through the years. We met in 1975 and our lives have been interwoven since then. Our children grew up together and "Mrs. Barrett " will always be special to my two boys. We are praying for Bobby and the kids (wonderful adults now). We all love her and her caring, giving ways. Betty was a truly special person.
