Betty Joy Gibbons, 86, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born November 8, 1930 in Hartshorn, Oklahoma to Herbert and Laura Bailey Weaver. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, Bill Gibbons and daughter, Gail Cochran. Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Terry Koontz; grandchildren, Christy Foss, Troy Davis, Tara Johnson and numerous great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 12-1PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin a 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
