Betty was born in Eldorado, Arkansas to Ann and Owen Schlup on February 18, 1926. She graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in 1948. She and William B. Jameson were married on December 10, 1948. Betty served as Accounting Supervisor with the UT School of Public Health for 10 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill Jameson, parents Ann and Owen Schlup, sister Mary Nesbitt and grandson William Newman. She is survived by children Mary Ann Newman, Wesley Jameson and wife Johnette, Helen Moulton and husband Cliff, and Debbie Jameson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Colonial Oaks for the loving care they provided our mother over the last 8 years of her life.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 7 in the Founder's Chapel at Grace Presbyterian Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane, Houston Texas.
In lieu of flowers and other remembrances, donations may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, Houston Texas or Amazing Place, 3735 Drexel Dr., Houston Texas.
