Betty had many talents and was very proud of her Czech heritage. She was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and quilted with the ladies quilting group to create unique and beautiful quilts for the church's annual bizarre auction. She was also well known in the family and in the community for her amazing kolaches.
She was also an expert at sewing and crocheting. Betty made wedding, bridesmaid and communion dresses and countless dresses for her granddaughters and she could crochet anything by just looking at a picture.
Betty was a very hard working woman, a spitfire by nature and would help anyone if she could to make them happy or nurse them to health.
Betty and her husband August loved to go polka dancing and the family is confident that they have found each other in heaven and resumed those dances they loved so much.
