Affectionately known as the “Church Lady”, Beverly worked as the secretary for Park Memorial Baptist Church for over 30 years. In addition to being the secretary, she also played the piano and organ, not just for Park Memorial but also for other churches in the area as well. Her biggest passion was helping others, even if it was to go and sit with them and keep them company. A close second was watching every single Astros game.
A visitation is scheduled for December 2nd, from 4:30pm to 9pm at Forest Park Lawndale. A funeral service will follow on December 3rd, at 1pm at Forest Park Lawndale followed by the burial at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. Bro. Ricky Fletcher will officiate the ceremony. The family would also like to thank everyone that came to visit Beverly while she was in the hospital prior to her passing, as well as those that offered their support, love, and prayers.
