Billie Jean Ayres Proctor Pieri went to meet her Heavenly Father on September 18, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on July 31, 1934 to Ross Martin Ayres and Bessie Lee Sipe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ross Martin Ayres and her first husband of fifty-three years, Raymond Searcy Proctor the father of their five daughters, Benjamin Thomas Hutzler her grandson, and James Aaron Hudson her son-in-law.
As a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Billie served on the Parish Counsel and CCD Committee. The family later moved to Cypress, Tx. She was instrumental in the establishment of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Cypress where she served on the first Parish Council. Billie and Searcy were couple counselors for the Pre-Cana Marriage Program.
On May 3, 2010, to Billie's surprise and delight, the second chapter of her life began. her high school sweetheart, Lt. col. Francis L. Pieri (USMC) ret. came back into her life. They were married on September 25, 2010. He also preceded her in death in 2013.
She is survived by daughters, Lynette Hutzler, Carol Ann Davis, Susan Parker and husband Steve, Mary Sleppy and husband Paul, Laura Bruchmiller and husband Tod, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
