Billie Jean See, age 95, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born on November 29, 1929, in Orange, Texas, Billie lived a long and full life dedicated to her family, faith, and the simple joys that made her smile.
A devoted homemaker, Billie poured love and care into everything she did. She was a longtime member of Candlelight Church of Christ, where her faith and fellowship were cornerstones of her life. Known for her warm spirit and playful nature, Billie especially enjoyed feeding squirrels in her yard, spending time at the casino, and sharing precious moments with her children and grandchildren.
Rearranging furniture was more than a hobby for Billie—it was a creative expression of her ever-caring and vibrant personality. She found joy in the details and made every space she touched feel like home.
Billie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Emmett Leroy Sr.; her parents, Wilford and Beth Felsher; and her siblings Gail, Margaret, and Jeanette.
She is survived by her children: Pamela Jean Anderson and husband Gary of Arkansas; Emmett Leroy See Jr. of Magnolia; Beth Louise Ryan and husband Kenney of Magnolia; Brian Edwin See of Illinois; Debbie Ann Ferguson and husband Patrick of Texas City; and Paul Eric See of Magnolia. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and numerous family members and friends who will deeply miss her warmth, laughter, and presence in their lives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will be treasured always.
