Billy was born on September 14, 1937, in Porter Springs, Texas, to Buster Jackson and Elizabeth Perdue Jackson. He later moved to Houston, where he attended Jefferson Davis High School, graduating in 1956.
On December 15, 1956, Billy married the love of his life, Irene Liccioni. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family. For nearly 70 years, they stood side by side, sharing life's joys and challenges and creating countless memories along the way. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, loyalty, and commitment.
Billy and Irene raised five children: Billy Jackson Jr., David Jackson, John Jackson, Debra Jackson Thompson, and Patricia Jackson Matthews. Family was an important part of Billy's life, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.
Billy dedicated 45 years of his professional life to serving others as an insurance agent with Allstate Insurance Company. Throughout his career, his hard work and dedication helped him build lasting relationships and friendships.
Outside of work, Billy enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially playing golf and spending time fishing. Whether on the golf course or enjoying a peaceful day on the water, these were moments that brought him happiness and relaxation.
Billy is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 70 years, Irene Jackson; their five children, Billy Jackson Jr. and his wife, Melissa Jackson; David Jackson; John Jackson; Debra Jackson Thompson; and Patricia Jackson Matthews. He is also survived by his loving sister, Shirley Jackson Davis; his loving brother, Jerry Jackson; and 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Elizabeth Perdue Jackson; his brother, Paul Jackson; his sister, Peggy Jackson; and his son-in-law, Jeffrey Thompson.
While Billy's passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through the family he helped build, the lives he touched, and the countless stories and memories shared by those fortunate enough to have known him.
In accordance with Billy's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. Instead, the family will gather privately to celebrate his life, share memories, and honor the man they loved.
Rest in peace, Billy. Your journey here may have ended, but the love you shared, the family you built, and the memories you created will remain in our hearts forever.
