

Billy Nathan Sisk, age 90, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2016. Born in Poteau, Oklahoma, he graduated from Centerville, Texas High School as the highest ranking boy student of his 1947 class. He served his country honorably during WWII as a United States Marine. Faithful member of Berean Baptist Church for over 50 years, serving as Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Assistant Treasurer, and in many other roles within the church. For the past 4 plus years has been a faithful servant at Northwest Baptist Church. He was gentle and kind and known by family and friends for his smile, hugs, kisses, BBQ, and peanut brittle. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jewel Sisk and grandson, Connor Bryan. Survived by children, Ronald Sisk and wife Susie, Jerry Sisk and wife Kelly, and daughter, Melinda Bryan and husband Rodney; grandchildren, Robyn Sisk, Jeffrey Sisk, Tiffany Sisk, Brandon Sisk and wife Melissa, Ashley Bryan, and Krista Bryan; great granddaughter, Siena Sisk; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwest Baptist Church, 1710 W. 34th, Houston, Texas 77018.
