

Bobbie L. Whiteing Jacobs was born on April 29, 1928 in Houston, Texas to the parentage of Robert Whiteing, Sr. and Agnes H. Whiteing. She was the oldest of twelve children. She attended public schools in Addicks and Alief, Texas. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School,she attended Prairie View A&M University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Houston Community College in 1982. After working in numerous areas of the medical field in public and private institutions, she retired from St. Joseph Medical Medical Center. At an early age, she confessed her belief in Christ and united with McGee Chapel and South Union Missionary Baptist Church(s). She later joined Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until her demise. Bobbie was united into Holy Matrimony to James Jacobs, where this union was blessed with two children; Johnny Lee Jacobs and Bobbie Jean aka "Jeannie." Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Whiteing, Sr. and Agnes H. Whiteing, sister, Juanita M. Whiteing Davis, brothers; Richard and Luther Ray Whiteing, and nephew, Melvin Davis. The memories of "Aunt Bobbie" will last forever in our hearts. We will always remember to say "I Love You" and "Thank You" like you ALWAYS did and never forget that smile of yours. Special cherished moments will forever linger on with daughter, Bobbie Jean, son, Johnny, six (6) grand children: Marcus Bland, Ray Brown, Jr. , Aeriel Brown, and Damon Richard, Jr. ( Cookie), Shannon and Tambryn Jacobs, six (6) great grandchildren: Kenny, Jr., Ka'mya, Karisma, Kendon, Kadon, and Reanna, five(5) sisters: Vera Lemons, Ruth Williams ( Solomon), Mary Jones, Martha Davis, and Joyce Whiteing, three(3) brothers: Robert ,, Herman (Rosemary), and Lester Whiteing, Sr.(Lordean), sister-in-law, McAnna Whiteing, friends: Clara Tanner and Linda Sonnier, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
