Bobby L Doughtie, 79, of Spring, Texas passed away on October 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Whistler Doughtie, the love of his life; their seven children, Robert Doughtie & wife Basia, James Doughtie & wife Debbie, Margaret Doughtie Owens & husband David, Greg Doughtie, Julia Doughtie Scott & husband Terry, William Doughtie & wife Adrianne and Matthew Doughtie; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eva Dee Brown, Flora Powell, Sue Register, Shirley Villareal, Tony Doughtie, Terri Artherholt, Glen Brown, Bobby Clyde Hearn and Dorothy Mansell. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, TX 77389. Interment will follow at Farris Cemetery, Walker County, TX.
