

A vigil and visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with a reception to follow. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, Houston, Texas.
Brian was born in Houston, Texas, to Frank Joseph Scalise, Jr. and Rosalie Ragusa Scalise on May 16, 1975. He graduated from Klein Forest High School. He worked in the Hotel & Restaurant industry as well as owned a few rental properties and spent the last 10+ years in retail. He served at his community church, St. Stephen Catholic Church, in Pointblank, and never missed his usual Saturday service at 4:30 p.m. Brian was an outdoorsmen and enjoyed ANYTHING to do with nature. He loved living on Lake Livingston. He loved God, people, water and snow skiing, riding his utility vehicles, riding his motorbike through trails, shooting guns, maintaining his parent’s property in Huntsville, observing God’s creations, and making people laugh.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and Frances Ragusa and Frank and Rose Scalise.
Brian is survived by his parents, Frank and Rosalie Scalise; his brother, and sister-in-law, Brent and Misty Scalise; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Lance Freeman; nieces and nephew, Brittany Moore & husband, Raymond & their son, Anthony; Anna, Sara, Ella, and Lila Freeman, and Beau Scalise, and countless loved ones and friends whom he impacted.
Pallbearers will be Eric Barrow, Kirk Jankowski, Stephen LaCorte, Derryck Noser, Christopher Pomilla, Beau Scalise, Shon Wolford, and Honorary Pallbearer, Charles Vento.
