Bruce we knew each other from elementary to high school  (Class of 1974)

We met in elementary school and you always had a big smile on your face and could say something to make you laugh.  The last time I saw you, you were asking me how things were up in Big "Cali". I will miss your smile and your laugh. Rest in Peace Bruce

Hello fellow classmates, friends and family of Bruce Jones.Bruce brought much laughter when we(Paula White, Karen Smith and Paula Radcliff) were together.  He was a very proud person to be in the Baby Ocean of Soul band at BTW.  A very bright, eager and joyful person to be around.  My sympathy goes out to the family.  May God continue to give you the much needed strength that is needed at a time like this.  Be Blessed..

It has been said that most people "lead lives of quiet desperation." This was not true of my brother. He was not only talented and gifted, but he had the courage to make decisions for himself, and it was his choice to "march to the beat of a different drummer." He had an infectious personality, as well as an inquiring mind and a sense of humor that made it almost impossible not to like him. Any time spent with him was likely to be "quality time." He could have been anything he wished, but chose to be himself, which is one of the reasons that I will always love him and miss him while cherishing his memory. Godspeed, my brother.

A musician and a historian, may the fun and fond memories of you live on.  You are certainly missed, your upbeat demeanor and insight on many subjects are embedded in us all. You made a mark on your family and everyone that came in contact with you. To the family, may GOD continue to console and keep you, for HE is where your strength and help will come from.

Bruce, you were my 1st childhood friend. A friend that accompanied many of my childhood "wonder years" experiences. We connected in kindergarten and I felt throughout the past 50+ years that our spirits never departed.
I know we will see each other again on the other side, to hang out, laugh, talk history, debate and reminiscence.

Bruce was a fellow bandmate in the Baby Ocean of Soul, classmate, and lifelong friend. He was always ready to tell anybody that he was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington class of 1974 and show you his class ring too! Condolences to his family. Rest In Peace, Bruce.

Bruce friends since the 5th grade, it saddens me to have lost a longtime friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Be blessed. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
