Carl Junior Feutral, 91, of Willis, Texas, passed away at his home, the one he built by himself on September 27, 2026. Tough, hardworking, and self‑made, Carl was a man of many talents who could build or repair anything. He came from humble beginnings but succeeded in life through grit and determination, always having enough to share.
He was an entrepreneur throughout his life, owning several successful businesses and proving time and again that he could make anything work. He took chances, backed the underdog, and helped wherever he could. If you were in his circle, you were fiercely protected.
Carl had a keen sense of humor and a stubborn streak that made him unforgettable. He championed people who needed a hand, and he lived with a generosity and loyalty that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters Debra Mattern, Lynn Rasberry, Carla Guerra, and step‑daughter Heather Baird; step‑son David Townsend; grandsons Austin Lowe, Donnie Mattern, Shane Mattern, Jonathan Guerra, Jareth Guerra, and Jacob Guerra; Trey Townsend granddaughter's Julia Thola, Jessica Townsend, Cecily Turnage; six great‑grandchildren and seven great‑great‑grandchildren; and many cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060, on Friday, October 2, 2026 Visitation at 1:00, Service at 2:00pm.
Carl will be placed at the Lorena Cemetery, between the wife of his youth Annette and his son David “Corkey” Feutral, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00am.
