Carmen V. Garcia

October 4, 1964 – February 8, 2015

Carmen V. Garcia passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her heavenly Father on Sunday, February 8, 2015, surrounded by her family. Carmen was preceded in death by her sister, Olivia Velasquez, her maternal grandfather, Pascual Villaloboz and her paternal grandparents Luis and Flora Velasquez. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Richard Garcia, her parents Robert and Lucy Velasquez, her sister Antonette Velasquez and her niece, Frances Olivares. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 12 noon at St. James the Apostle, 22800 Aldine Westfield Road, Spring, TX 77373. Interment immediately following at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many family members and friends for their calls and prayers and to Kindred Hospital Spring for their care and support in her final days.
