She is survived by daughters, Sherry Ann Cade-Mooney and Patricia Lucille Cade; and son, William James Cade Jr.; grandchildren, Carollyne Renee Pare Brock (Bobby), Kathleen Bridgette Cade Masterson (Chuck); her great-grandchildren William Conner Pare Harrison (Vic), Kathleen Mackenzie Masterson and Cadie Colleen Masterson, Breanna Faith Clark (Kendal).
Carollyne was preceded in death by husband, William James Cade Sr.; mother, Dorothy Drake and father, Isaac Lucian Reese Jr.; sisters, Helen Elaine Medearis and Bernice Ava Herndon; granddaughters, Jennifer Ileen Pare and Collen Rachel Cade Atwood.
Carollyne worked as a supervisor in the kitchen at Elementary school in Houston Independent School District. Later worked at Methodist Hospital Houston Medical Center, she started as a cafeteria cashier and became a Supervisor of Catering.
She enjoyed traveling, cake decorating, quilting, crochet, and singing. She was also actively involved in a quilting group at Lutheran Church the Redeemer, sang in Epworth church choir. Carollyne was a member most of her life at Epworth Methodist Church, and for the last ten years she has been a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.

For the special care provided to Mom, the family sends thanks to all the caregivers at Creekside Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Pearland for their support for bringing purpose and joy to our Mother.
A visitation for Carollyne will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 11 o’clock in the morning at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 from 12 o’clock in the afternoon. A committal service will occur Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Per family request, Masks and Social Distancing are requested.
