

She was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, on March 14, 1936. Carolyn graduated from Ouachita High School, the University of Houston, and Sam Houston State University.
She was married to Thomas Carroll Jackson on June 17, 1972. Carolyn worked as a teacher and a school librarian and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was a member of Grace Crossing Church and had tremendous love for the Lord, her family, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Jackson; son, Rodney Jackson; granddaughter, Elisabeth McFalls; parents, Shirley Harold and Ruth Bradley; and parents-in-law, Tom and Orilues Jackson.
She is survived by children, Kim (Jett) McFalls, Annie (Rodney) Jackson, Rhonda (Tim) Dudley, and Ron (Julie) Jackson; grandchildren Jett (Jacci) McFalls, Jr., Kristen (Randy) Davis, Courtney McFalls, Curtis Jackson, Brooke Jackson, Breanne Jackson, Michelle (Matt) Kamprath, Blake (Sarah) Dudley, and Kyle Dudley; great-grandchildren Kinzie (Cameron) Golden, Kash Settle, Kalli Settle, Faith McFalls, Rylee McFalls, Champ Davis, Atlas Davis, Starks Davis, and James Dudley, and on the way, Melanie Kamprath; great-great-grandchildren, Korinne Golden, and on the way, Kohynn Monroe Golden.
