Carolyn Joe Killion

Carolyn Joe Mitchell Killion, age 91, of Houston, Texas passed away Saturday, March 5th, 2022. Carol was born February 15, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Joseph A. Mitchell and Carrie Stringfellow Mitchell. She graduated, Valedictorian, from Reagan High School in 1949. When Carol was 19 years old, she purchased Milam Florist. She married Coy Killion in 1953 and they were blessed with two sons, Kraig and Kriss. She continued running the flower shop for 40 years as Killions-Milam Florist, which continues to be ran by her family. She then started Antiques at Rose Hill in 1991, which is still operation to this day.

Carol loved to garden, she loved crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years, Coy, and her son, Kraig.

She is survived by her son, Kriss and wife, RayeNell, grandchildren Kristofer, and wife Claudia, and Mark.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
