

Carolyn was born to John William Crull and Loyce Bonnell Canfield Crull, February 7, 1935, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School on June 2, 1953, in Houston, Texas. She married Leonard John Toups on April 14, 1970, and they lived together in South Houston, Texas.
She is survived by sons: James (Rock) Lilly, and William (Bill) Lilly, stepson, Gary Toups, and niece, Vicki Rogers Stone. She also leaves to cherish her memory William Kent Lilly, her grandson.
She was preceded in death by her sister. Helen Joan Crull Rogers.
Carolyn worked in Zale’s Jewelry Store in downtown Houston where she was the bookkeeper. She then was a bank teller for Southern State Bank. She was also an apartment manager for Lunar apartments and then worked in Kenlee’s Gun Shop where she was a sales person and cashier, all in Houston, Texas. Carolyn enjoyed doing beaded work and transformed the walls in her house with designs of birds, trees and gardens. She and Leonard were also at one time, actively involved in First Baptist Church of Pasadena.
On Friday, May 1, Carolyn’s viewing is at 11:30 am. The service is at noon and the graveside burial is scheduled immediately after the service. All of this is happening at Forest Park, Lawndale.
