

Carver Hamilton Jones (age 67) passed away after a long illness on February 11, 2022, in Austin, Texas. He was born December 11, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Arthur Jones and Patricia Forbes. Carver and his ex-wife, Sarah, had two children: Paige (Jones) Harper and Cameron Jones.
Carver was the oldest of four kids. He grew up in the Houston neighborhoods of Briargrove and Tanglewood, and was involved in the usual activities; Indian Guides, Boy Scouts, Little League baseball, and Camp Longhorn. He attended Lee High School in Houston, and graduated from Schreiner High School in Kerrville, Texas.
His family had a lake house on Lake Travis where they gathered with other families every summer. Many years later, Carver had the opportunity to return to Lake Travis, a place where he had many happy memories. In 1996 Carver moved his family to Lakeway, Texas. There he obtained his real estate license and helped others achieve the same dream of living in the Texas Hill Country. Those were happy times for Carver and his family.
Carver was a sensitive soul who made friends easily. He loved boating on Lake Travis, long road trips, and sharing stories. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Jones, his siblings, Lee and Janis. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Forbes, his sister, Jeanine Elster (Allen), his son, Cameron Jones, his daughter, Paige Harper (Sean), and his grandsons, Jack and Thomas Harper.
