She entered into eternal rest on November 1, 2017.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Jesse J. Bertrand; second husband Edmundo Romero and her grandson Fernando Bertrand Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Celia Cantu, Fernando Bertrand, Rene Bertrand, Sandra and husband Eric Olivares, Frank Bertrand and wife Rebecca, Nancy Bertrand and husband Oscar Hernandez, Arely Leal and husband Roman, Nayelly Sanchez and husband Luis Sanchez; grandchildren Marcelino Cantu, Jorge Banuelos, Stephanie Bertrand, Andrea Bertrand, Christian Bertrand, Valline Bertrand, Samantha Olivares, Stephen Olivares, Sara Olivares, Priscilla Bertrand, Frank Romero Bertrand, Jewels Hernandez and Noah Hernandez; numerous great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 9pm, with a rosary at 7pm, on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 10am, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
