Catherine Elaine Broussard

Catherine Elaine Broussard, the younger of two daughters of Earl Broussard and Ruby Falls Broussard, was born September 25, 1960, in Houston, Texas. Catherine was baptized at an early age by Reverend Hugh Pope, Pastor of Greater True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. She was an honor student at Kashmere High School from which she graduated in 1978. She worked for a short period of time at Shell Oil. She also worked with her mother in the catering business for many years. Catherine knew how much GOD had blessed her and expressed this in her writings. She was grateful for those that GOD had placed in her life; those who are no longer with us and those who are here celebrating her life today. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Broussard; maternal grandparents, Timothy Falls, Sr., and Catherine Falls; paternal grandmother, Lula Dixon; uncle, Timothy Falls, Jr.; aunts, Caldonia Falls, Helen Ballard, Doretha Oliver, and Naomi Wilson. Catherine’s precious memories will be cherished and honored by her mother, Ruby Falls Broussard and sister, Cheryl Broussard Smith (Eddie/"Dee") and a host of relatives and friends.
