Catherine was a forty year member of Berachah Church. Survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John Milton Gilliam; children, John Malcolm Gilliam, Gene Gilliam, Cathy Jones and husband, David; daughters-in-law, Linda and Norma Gilliam; grandchildren, John Marcus Gilliam and wife, Sara, Lindsay, Stephanie and Natalie Gilliam; great-grandson, Jace Gilliam; devoted niece, Donna Malcom, brother, Kenneth Ellis and sister, Barbara Nelson.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Waltrip Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
