Catherine Merle Henrichs

Cathy was born in Houston, Texas on June 2, 1949 as a third generation Houstonian. She was a proud Baylor University graduate where she then became a teacher for under privileged children. Cathy married Deuwain Henrichs on June 4, 1976 and had two children, Jason Roberts Henrichs and Catherine Ann Henrichs (Sullivan).

She loved spending as much time as she could with her 4 grandchildren, Ryan Henrichs (13), Kate Henrichs (10), Andrew Sullivan (8), and William Sullivan (5). Cathy would read to them, play UNO, dominos, and Candyland. She never missed a baseball/ tball game or a gymnastics meet. Cathy always told each of them how much she loved them and how proud she was of what they were doing.

Cathy enjoyed being at the farm in Sheridan, Texas with Deuwain where they fed the deer every night, rode around in the golf cart, and spent time with the neighbors. She always loved her dogs. Cathy was a selfless woman who helped many people throughout her years and was always thinking about others.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10 AM, with funeral services starting at 11 AM in the chapel of Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd., Houston, TX 77008. A committal service will be held at 2 PM at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 14711 Cypress North Houston Rd., Cypress, TX 77429
