Chester Ray Marsh, 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 25, 2026. Born October 15, 1942, Chester lived a life marked by steady courage, plainspoken honesty, and a resilience that carried him through every season with quiet strength. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love by all who had the privilege to know him.
Chester was retired from Reed Tool and FMC. His years of work reflected the same dependable character that defined his life—showing up, doing what was right, and meeting responsibilities with perseverance.
Chester was a beloved husband and father. He was married for 63 years and leaves behind a strong and loving family: four children and nine grandchildren, each a lasting part of the legacy he built through devotion, constancy, and care.
Visitation will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, US, on August 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at Earthman Resthaven on August 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with the Committal Service immediately afterward from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Pallbearers will be Robert Marsh, Raymond Marsh, Brett Faircloth, Tyler Gragg, Shane Scanlin, and Jason Scanlin.
