Christopher David McNamara

Christopher David McNamara passed away October 28, 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas at 63 years of age. Chris was born in La Marque, Texas on October 10, 1958 to Jack Earl McNamara (d. 2011) and Lou Ann Renfro (d. 1977).

Chris graduated from Memorial High School in Houston, Texas. From a young age he had a passion and interest in anything with an engine. He raced motocross in his teen years and had multiple motorcycles throughout his life that he would ride, fix up, and tinker with. His love of engines extended into his career in aviation. Chris started as an Aviation & Airframe mechanic working on Leer and Falcon jets for (then) Garrett AiResearch Aviation. At the time of his death, Chris had risen to Director of Airframe Operations of (now) StandardAero. He loved every part of the airplanes on which he worked and loved the people who worked with him. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Courtney (Jason) Jennaro and son, Ryan McNamara. Chris had two grandsons, Jackson and Jacob Jennaro. He is also survived by his brother, Steve (Susan) McNamara of Henderson, NV, and his stepsister, Charlene McNamara Salazar of Spring, TX, and stepmother, Jimmye Lou McNamara of Spring, TX. He is preceded in death by his brother, Forrest Kyle McNamara (d. 2000).
