

Claudia May Turner, 104, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on October 5, 2013. She was born on October 15, 1908 to Euel and Jodie Tucker in Gilmer, Texas. Claudia spent her formative years in Gilmer Texas and graduated from Sam Houston High school. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church for well over 25 years and loved her church family very much.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years Herman L. Turner Sr. and daughter Jean and husband Tracy Culbertson. Left behind to treasure her memory are her children Herman Turner and his wife Isabel, Galveston, Texas and Hope Wolf and her husband J.W., Lake Wylie, SC : Grandchildren Shawnessey Custer and her husband Phil of St. Louis, Sherial Caswell and her husband Larry of Manvel, Tx Mike Culbertson and his wife Kathi, of Manvel, Tx Melinda Jordon of LaPorte, Tx, Lynette Davidson and her husband Marty, Mobile, AL, Jay Wolf and his wife Heather, Ft Mill, SC, Jennifer Wolf of Lake Wylie, SC; Great grandchildren Marla Jones and her husband Randy, Manvel Tx, John Caswell, Houston Tx, Andrew Culbertson, Houston Tx, Jason Culbertson, Houston Tx, Chet Stanley and his wife Joy, Pearland Tx, Justin Stanley, Houston, Tx , Kyle Jordon and his wife Marybeth, Midland Tx, Jeff Jordon and his wife Sharon, League City, Tx, Ashleigh Tansey and her husband Eric, Clayton, NC, Rebecca Davidson, Mobile, AL, Kathleen Davidson,Tampa, FL, Bridghid Davidson, Morgan Wolf, Tyler Wolf, Breland Wolf, John Wolf, Ft Mill, SC, and Skyler Wolf, Lake Wylie, SC; Great great grandchildren Elizabeth Jones, Laurel Jones, Camile Jones, Isaiah Martinez, Colton Stanley, Grace Stanley, Lane Jordon, Jenna Jordon, Luke Jordon, Connor Jordon, Katelyn Jordon, Duke Tansey and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to give a special thanks to the A-Med Hospice staff, especially Melanie and Shonna and to the Hampton Pearland Care Associates and Staff for their continuous, loving care.
A visitation is scheduled from 9-10am on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 with a funeral service to follow in the Chapel of Angels at Forest Park Lawndale.
