

Cleo Morrow Atilee, was born October 6, 1914 in Somersville, Texas to Estella Morrow and John Eldridge. The family moved to Calvert, Texas where she attended school. Cleo later moved to Houston, Texas where she met and married John Atilee in 1941. She was a great cook espically Sunday Dinners and a wonderful seamstress for many years. During the early 1960's, she became a member of Progressive Missionary Bapsist Chruch under the leadership of the late Rev. B.J. Lewis and continued her membership under Rev. Raymond H. Hillid until her death. During her active days was a member of the Sanctuary Choir. Cleo Atilee transitioned from earth to glory on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- John Atilee, sisters- Hattie Powell & Rachel Nelson, and brother- David Morrow. Cleo Atilee leaves to charish her memories; sister- Goldie Randle, brother Michael Randle; daughter, Margie Neville, 2 granddaughters; Cleo Marie Atilee, Willie Louise Shaw (William), 2 grandsons- John Anthony Atilee and Harold Atilee; 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; 3 nephews, Robert Pace, David Morrow (Bobbie), Calvin Morrow (Adia),2 nieces; Estella Graham and Mildred Hurst and a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
