Connie Canter Russell, 62, of Houston, TX went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2019. She was born on December 25, 1956. Connie graduated from Aldine High School and started working at Drilco. Following that career, she worked at Spring ISD as a handicapped school bus driver so that she would be able to spend more time with her sons. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, classic cars and Patsy Cline. She always made sure she had her family taken care of. Connie is survived by her sons, Blake Canter Russell and wife Lisa Jimenez, Shane Andrew Russell; grandchildren, Cameron Laine Russell, Carolyn Joli Jimenez and brother, Nathan Canter. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Earthman Resthaven with committal to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery. You will be truly loved and missed Mom! We love you more than the last number Mom! Take care, you will be proud of us.

Thoughts and prayers to Blake and Shane for the loss of their mother. I'm so sorry for y'alls loss. Y'all have been through a lot in less then a month with the passing of y'alls dad (Andy) which is my cousin. I think about y'all and hope y'all are doing ok.
