Mrs. Constance Mary McGown passed peacefully on Saturday, September 14th 2024, surrounded by her grandchildren. Born on January 24th, 1932, Connie lived a vibrant, fulfilling life marked by her generosity and tenacity.
Connie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph McGown and her two sons, James and David McGown whose memories she carried fondly in her heart. There was nothing more she loved than God, her Husband and her Children.
Connie is survived by her loving family and friends who will continue to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of service and love. Grandson Brian McGown, wife Jenny McGown, great-grandson Joshua and great-granddaughter Mary Claire. Granddaughter Melissa Lindemann, husband Chris Lindemann and two great-granddaughters Emma and Layla. Grandson Jason McGown. Grandson Christopher McGown and Wife Nicole McGown. Granddaughter Courtney LeBlanc, husband Mason LeBlanc and two great-grandsons Elijah and Ezra.
Connie was a devout Catholic and loyal congregation member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church. Connie's faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she dedicated countless hours to serving her church and community. She was known for her selfless acts of kindness and her unwavering commitment to helping others. Connie volunteered at craft shows, festivals, and various programs to raise money for the church and community, embodying the true spirit of charity and compassion.
Connie's love for her faith and her family was evident in everything she did. Her warm smile, generous heart, and tireless dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held on October 1st 2024 from 4-6 PM, rosary at 5 PM. A funeral service will be held on October 2nd at 10 AM, with reception to follow, both at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home in Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in Connie's memory.
To our Grandmother: Your faith, kindness, and devotion will always be remembered and celebrated. Thank you for teaching us what it means to be a strong and independent person. We can only hope to live as fearlessly as you.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A reception will occur Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
