Minister Currie Lynn Moore was born on June 17, 1964, in Fort Worth, TX to his loving parents, Curley and Mary Frazier Moore. He was the twin brother of Glynn Moore, who suddenly passed away six weeks after birth. On September 5, 2026, Minister Currie Lynn Moore answered the call from Heaven and entered eternal rest. Minister Moore received his education in the Fort Worth Independent School District. He graduated from Northside High School in 1982.
Confessing Christ at an early age, Minister Moore yielded his life to the will of God and was baptized. He was a member of the Worth Hill Missionary Baptist Church and other ministries in the Fort Worth area. He found solace in his faith and answered God’s call to preach while at Beautiful Feet Church. He remained committed to his calling, faithfully teaching the Word of God and sharing his faith with others. What began as a calling became a meaningful part of his life’s journey and his legacy.
In 2011, Minister Moore met and later married the love of his life, Charlotte Denaye Austin (Moore), and his family grew even larger. He served as active member and Minister of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Harvey Brownlow, Ill for over 10 years.
Affectionately known as “Lynn” to his family, he grew, persevered, and thrived throughout the years. His life became a beautiful testimony of strength, faith, love, and purpose – a journey that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew and loved him.
Minister Moore deeply loved his wife and family, and he also had a special passion for the open road and fishing. Whether behind the wheel of his truck or spending peaceful moments near the water, he found joy, purpose, and fulfillment in the things he loved. Those passions became a memorable part of the life he lived so fully.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curley and Mary Frazier Moore; his beloved twin brother, Glynn Moore; his grandparents; and a host of other family members and loved ones who went before him.
