Cynthia Lynn Mittasch

Cindy was baptized and confirmed at Sharon Lutheran Church of Pasadena, TX. She attended Deer Park schools and worked for Kelly Moore Paint upon graduation.

On March 27, 1982, she married Jerry Mittasch in Pasadena, Texas after meeting him at a Lutheran young adults’ group. Cindy and Jerry were married and resided in Houston, TX for 41 years.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father Henry Meyer, father-in-law John Mittasch, mother-in-law Elsie Mittasch and brother-in-law Randy Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Mittasch of Houston, mother Gay Meyer of Deer Park, brother David Meyer and wife Barbara of Tomball, sister Lori Meyer of Deer Park, sister Julie Shaw of Pasadena, brother-in-law Jerald Mittasch and wife Carol of Houston and nieces Ashley Meyer, Mykenzie Shaw and Carlie Shaw.

Cindy had a smile and personality that lit up the room when she walked in. She was known for craft talents that she shared with many. Cindy will be remembered as a supportive wife, wonderful daughter, a great big sister, fun aunt and a good friend.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church, located at 11522 Telge Road, Cypress Texas 77429. There will be a family visitation at 10:00 A.M. with the service following at 11:00 A.M.
