He is preceded in death by his parents, Isidra Martines Aguilera and Daniel Marquez Martin and step-son, Gabriel Marquez.
He is survived by his family; wife, Lourdes B. Marquez; sons, Daniel Marquez, Jr., Ruben Marquez; daughter, Andrea E. Marquez; stepson, Frank Acosta and his wife Elizabeth; stepdaughter, Rita Marquez Swate and husband Tommy Swate; Grandchildren, Ruben Marquez II, Daniel Marquez IV, Ninfa Marquez, Christopher Acosta, Ian Acosta, Christian Swate, Jordan Swate, and Faith Acosta.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will follow from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. A committal service will occur at 2:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
