Daniel Orosco, born December 27, 1952 in Floresville, Texas, passed away September 24, 2012 in Harlingen, Texas. Mr. Orosco is survived by his wife, Janet and their children, Devin and Dillon; children, Jason and Porsha and their mother, Esther; grandson, Ethan; mother, Elizabeth; father, Trinidad; step-mom, Eloisa; brother, Trinidad Jr.; sisters, Helen, Gracie, and Yvonne, and other extended family and friends.
Daniel was raised in the Heights of Houston, and graduated from Reagan High School. He loved the beach, where he especially enjoyed surfing and fishing. In his youth, he played a lot of baseball and football.
The family will gather with friends from 6:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012, also in the Chapel. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at a graveside service in Goodson Cemetery, Pinehurst, Texas.
