Daniel Ramirez III

Daniel "Danny" Ramirez III, 65, of Houston, Texas, beloved husband and best friend of Carmen Ramirez for 43 years passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 2, 2014. He is predeceased by his parents Daniel Jr. and Mary Ramirez and brothers Jerry and Ramiro Ramirez. Danny was employed as a Senior Public Health Investigator for the City of Houston – Health and Human Services. He enjoyed and took pride in his work, only to retire a few years prior to his passing. He loved working on his yard, home projects, cooking, dressing up as Santa and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Angela “Angie” and her husband Jimmy Chavez, Mary “Elsie” LeComte, Magdalena “Maggie” and her husband Freddie Soto; his brother Reynoldo and wife Ana Ramirez; children; Prunella and husband Stacy Torres Jr., Daniel IV and wife Lysandra Ramirez; grandchildren; Ally, Danny Boy, Johnny Ramirez and Nicholas Torres, as well as six Godchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 12-9 pm with a rosary service taking place at 7 pm at Forest Park Lawndale. A funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew C.C. located at 9915 Hollister Dr in Houston at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 6, 2014 with an interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
