Dave L. Booker, Sr.

Dave L. Booker Sr. loving husband father brother, departed this world August 21, 2016. He was born December 23, 1945 in Karnack, Texas to Earl and Callie Booker. Dave accepted Christ at an early age. He graduate of Kashmere High School. Dave also served in the United States Army for two years. Dave had many jobs, he was a outstanding dedicated truck driver, he was employed by Shoreline Trucking, United Gas, Metro and Century Papter Company (Unisource) for 20 years. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Callie Booker; his oldest brother, Huery Lee Booker; sister Eulinda Penn Turner. Dave leaves in God’s care family and friends that he loved and adored: wife, Catherine Booker of 17 years; two sons from a previous marriage, Broderick Booker (Katrina) and Dave Booker Jr. (Bernadett); one step son, Kendrick Glaze (Ruby); two grandchildren, Dave Booker III and Zoe Symone Booker; two brothers, Carey Booker (Deborah) and Earl Booker Jr. (Jonnie); three sisters, Ola Neal (Spike), Charlotte Jolivet (Milton) and Barbara Ketchum (Brady); a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law; two very special friends, Early Haines and James Hines; and many other family members and friends.
