

After graduating from St Pius High School, David went to work for Mission Manufacturing in Houston as a machinist and worked through numerous ownership changes until his retirement at age 53 from Sandvick Rock Tools. He was a member of #490 of the Variety Boys Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2917 since 1965. David loved music and played bass guitar with the Western Cousins, a country and western band made up of cousins James Borski; Edward Borski; Freddie Foss; Paul Taylor; longtime friends, Bobby Petras, and "Uncle" George Repal, and managed by his brother, Jerome Borski.
David was a lifetime Houstonian, who saw the construction of the Astrodome and the tractors and dozers building I-45. He was a Houston Oilers, Houston Astros, and Houston Texans fan, and could rattle off a wealth of Houston Trivia. He loved his big family and was a fixture at holidays and celebrations.
David is preceded in death by his parents: his sister, Dorothy Klinger and her husband, Larry: his sister, Mary Borski: his brother. Rev. Charles Borski, OMI: his brother, Jerome Borski: his double-cousin, Edward Borski: and his brother-in-law, Vincent Campo. He is survived by his sister, Anna Campo of Pearland: his sister in law, Carol Borski of Tomball: numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and two Goddaughters.
A visitation for David will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, with a funeral service to follow. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. A reception will occur Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
