David graduated from Bryant High School in Pineland, Texas. He confessed Christ at an early age and later on became a deacon at the Church of the Living God #305, along with Pastor Anthony Gaskill.
In 1971, David enlisted with the Army, toured Vietnam and traveled many states. He received several medals as a sharp shooter and received an honorable discharge.
In the 80’s he worked at Dry Wall Supply for several years. He drove trucks for Hellman Company and was also trained to be a Harris County Officer.
David Seastrunk made many friends throughout the years. He left many footprints and will be greatly missed.
On May 27, 2009, David married his soulmate Gloria Martin and it was a match made in Heaven. When you saw one, you saw both.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria Seastrunk, three sisters; Essie Mae Seastrunk, Sendie Dean (deceased), and Minnie Lee (deceased). Nine brothers; Leo Seastrunk (Killeen, TX), Abell Seastrunk (Alexandria, La.), O.P. Seastrunk (deceased), Olee Seastrunk (deceased), Willie Seastrunk (deceased), Eddie Dean Seastrunk (deceased), Billie Jean Seastrunk (deceased), Jimmie Seastrunk (deceased) and Gardie Lee Seastrunk (deceased). Three sister-in-laws; Rosie Jackson, (deceased) (Litton), Evangelist Thelma Edwards (deceased) and Brenda Larsears. Five brother-in-laws; Jeffery Martin, Leroy Martin, Sr., Robert Martin, Sr., Alex Martin, Sr. (deceased) and Billy Brantley (deceased). Eight children; Reginald Seastrunk, Pamela Lacky (Stephen), David Lee Seastrunk, Jr. (Monica), Rodney Seastrunk (Nashira), Zackery Slider (Aisha), Daneshia Slider, Timothy Martin, Sr. (Eugenica), Roderick Martin (deceased) (Sherice), 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
