Dawn Renee Cudd
May 1, 1967 – May 28, 2019
Dawn Renee Cudd was born in Houston, Texas on May 1, 1967 to parents Walter and Shirley (Middelstaedt) Cudd. She passed away in Houston on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the age of 52.
There is so much to say, words cannot paint the picture of who Dawn Cudd really is. She was the proud mom of three kids, first Patricia, then Mary and the youngest, son Duffy. And she wasn't just the mother of three kids; she was one of the strongest, independent women out there today. She was always a very strong woman with a personality that would brighten up the day.
In addition to her children, mom is survived by her wonderful and loving grandfather, Walter Ray Cudd; her mother, Shirley Cudd, who raised a wonderful women we all loved; three grandchildren, Tuff, Summer and Zoey, who are Mary Jo Letkes kids; her brother, Roger Cudd; other loving family members; special friends, Diane and Don Laney; and many dear friends.
Many people loved mom for her tremendous spirit. She left a legacy behind that many will cherish and she will be forever missed. We are comforted in knowing she is reunited with the many friends and family who have gone before her, and knowing her soul is at rest with Jesus Christ and the Heavenly Father.
Family and friends will gather and celebrate this wonderful woman’s life during a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1514 Campbell Road in Houston, with Mr. Mark Lindsay officiating.
For those desiring, memorial donations in Dawn’s name may be directed to a charity of your choice.
