Dimitrios "Jimmy" Bokos

Dimitrios (Jimmy) Bokos Born December twenty fifth, nineteen forty seven. Died December eleventh two thousand twenty. Born the youngest of eight children to Panorea and Dimitrios Bokos. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bokos of forty five years. Stepson Jeffrey Hausen and his wife Laura, His Stepdaughter Theresa Hausen. Proud grandfather of dearly loved seven grandchildren: Chelsie, Kenneth, Haley, Autumn, Skyler, Davin Dimitrios and Athan. Excited at the birth of two great grandchildren: Ardon and Juniper. Will be dearly missed by his brothers, Argos Bokos and his wife Katina, George Bokos and his wife Christina, And Louis Bokos and his wife Frederiki. His sisters Maria Mihalaki and Kanella Apostolakos. His sister in law Mrs.Vasili Bokos. He is beloved by his nephews, Dimitrios Argos Bokos, Dimitrios Louis Bokos, Dimitrios Vasili Bokos. Cherished by his Nieces Nora Katina Bokos, Nora Frederiki Bokos, Nora Irene Bokos, Nora Maria Mihalaki, and Kiki Maria Mihalaki. Proud owner with his wife of the Tel-wink Restaurant. Previous successful owners of the Omega Restaurant on Gulf Freeway and Monroe. Previous successful owners of Franks Grill on Telephone Road. Houston lost a very well known figure in the restaurant industry, and loved by his employees of many years. Jimmy came to the United States, became a citizen, got married and made a better life for his family by moving to Houston. “Jimmy The Greek” is very respected in the community. He was very kind man and loved by many customers, as well as the Greek Community. He was proud member of the AHEPA. Supporter of Veterans, the Shriners Hospital, as well as the M.S. Foundation.
