Dixie Brockman passed away on April 1, 2011 at the age of 79. She was born on May 13, 1931 in Millersburg, OH. to Clyde and Nova Jean Parsons. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Nova Jean Dies; sisters, Evelyn Harmon, Ruby Rock, Ruth (Billie) Harlan, brothers; Lester (Bug) Parsons, Clifford (Pete) Parsons and Donald (Donnie) Parsons. She leaves to cherish her memory; Husband of 44 years, Dale Brockman, daughter, Nancy Hall, Son-in-law, David Hall, grandchildren, SPC Aaron Ybarbo and Natalie Hall, brother; Macs (Tommie) Parsons and sister; Carolyn (Jenny) Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Dixie was a wonderful, devoted, kind and caring, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She touched many lives in her long career as a nurse, offering comfort, care and healing. We love you dearly and you will be in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 6 to 9 pm with the Memorial on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 2 pm in the Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
